The story of panda Xilan

Panda Xilan, male, pedigree number: 731, alias: Erye, Xierye, Bai Deyaosi, the miserable king of the year, was born on August 30, 2008 in the Atlanta Zoo in the United States. His father is  panda Yangyang and his mother is  panda Lunlun. On December 8, 2008, Xilan celebrated the 100th day of birth. After a month of global naming activities, he was finally named "Xilan", which means "Joy of Atlanta". When Xilan was young, he was naughty and active, and his big fluffy face was loved by fans. He often bothered his mother regardless of the occasion and time. He once got the unique "love over the shoulder throw" for disturbing his mother eating bamboo. This video became popular on the Internet.On May 15, 2014, Xilan returned to China with her sister Baolan and moved into the Chengdu Research Base of  Panda Breeding. He became the beauty of the base and was known as the "most beautiful bear in the base".When Xilan first returned to China, she was starving and ate grass because she didn't recognize the bamboo shoots fed by the breeder. After the video was released, she was dubbed "The Miserable King of the Year" by netizens. However, after gradually adapting to the environment, Xilan showed that she was extremely picky about bamboo shoots. No matter how big the bamboo shoots were, she would only eat the tips of them.
