The story of panda Xinbao

Giant panda Xinbao, female, pedigree number 1086, was born on July 23, 2020 (some data show July 22, but the difference of one day may be due to the slight difference in the recording time point) at the Wolong Shenshuping Base (China Giant Panda Garden) of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda. Her mother is the giant panda Princess. In 2024, Xinbao and the male giant panda "Yunchuan" were selected as representatives of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda to go to the United States. On June 26, 2024, they set off for the San Diego Zoo in the United States, starting a 10-year sojourn. After arriving in the United States, Xinbao and Yunchuan quickly adapted to the new environment.
